8 locations, 8 jurisdictions, no marketing spin.
Each site is listed with its actual legal position — what a foreign takedown notice achieves, what a local court order achieves, and what data retention law applies. Including the one location where DMCA does apply, because a customer who picks wrong is a customer we lose.

Choosing a jurisdiction
Which offshore VPS jurisdiction is the best?
There is no single best jurisdiction — the right answer depends entirely on what you are protecting against. Romania and Bulgaria give you EU-grade infrastructure and data protection while a US copyright notice carries no direct legal force, on the understanding that a properly substantiated complaint still has to be assessed under EU law. Iceland has statutory source protection in its Media Act and makes a takedown wait for a court injunction. Panama protects private correspondence at constitutional level and routes foreign demands through its own courts, and it has also held a mutual legal assistance treaty with the United States since 1995, so read the Panama page before you buy it as a firewall. Moldova and Seychelles put the most distance between you and both EU and US process, with the caveat that Moldova and the US are both Budapest Convention parties. The Netherlands has the best network in the fleet and sits under the same EU obligations as Bucharest and Sofia.
Does choosing an offshore location make my server anonymous?
Jurisdiction and anonymity are separate properties. Jurisdiction determines whose courts can compel action against the server. Anonymity depends on what the provider knows about you — which at NimbusVPS is an email address and a cryptocurrency transaction, in every location including the United States. Choosing Panama does not help if your own application logs your identity into a database.
Can I move my server between locations later?
Yes. Migration between locations is performed as a snapshot transfer and takes anywhere from minutes to a few hours depending on disk size. The IP address changes, since addressing is location-specific, so plan DNS accordingly. There is no migration fee.
Why do prices differ between locations?
The price index shown on each location reflects real differences in transit cost, facility cost and hardware logistics. Amsterdam sits at ×1.00 as the baseline; Kansas City is cheaper at ×0.95; Seychelles is ×1.40 because bandwidth on an island is genuinely expensive. The index multiplies your whole configured monthly total, and the configurator shows the effect before you pay.
Do you offer locations in Asia?
Not yet, beyond Seychelles which routes well into the Indian Ocean region and the Gulf. Singapore and Hong Kong are on the roadmap but both raise jurisdictional questions we would rather answer properly than quickly — a location marketed as offshore that quietly honours foreign takedowns is worse than no location at all.
Pick a jurisdiction and go.
The location is a single click in the configurator, and you can migrate later without a fee.
