Configurator

Build your own VPS, exactly to spec.

Per-unit pricing, published openly. Move a slider and the total moves with it — no quotes, no sales call, no setup fee, and no specification that quietly changes after you pay. Land exactly on one of the named plans and you are charged that plan's advertised price instead, which is lower.

Applied to the whole monthly total. It reflects real differences in transit and facility cost, not a markup — Kansas City is below the baseline because US bandwidth is cheap, and Victoria is above it because bandwidth on an island genuinely costs more.

Three builds, priced in full.

Every line computed by the same function the configurator and the checkout use, so these cannot drift away from what you would actually be charged.

Questions

About building your own

Is a custom build more expensive than a named plan?

At the same specification, slightly — the named plans are sold close to cost as an entry point, and per-unit pricing carries the ordinary margin. The difference is a few percent at mid and high specifications and larger at the smallest sizes. If your configuration lands exactly on a named plan, you are charged that plan's advertised price rather than the per-unit total, so building your way to a plan never costs you more than buying it directly.

Can I change the specification after the server is running?

Yes. vCPU, memory and disk can all be increased from the control panel, applied at the next reboot and billed pro rata against your current term. Disk can be grown but not shrunk — that is a limitation of resizing a live filesystem safely, not a policy. Moving the server to a different jurisdiction is also supported and carries no migration fee.

What is the largest server I can build here?

32 vCPU, 128 GB of memory and 2 TB of NVMe, in quantities up to 20 identical instances on one invoice. Above that the constraint is a single physical host, so the answer becomes a dedicated server or a fleet — either is available, and both start with a conversation rather than a slider.

Why does the price change when I change location?

Each site carries a multiplier applied to the whole monthly total, shown in the rate card above. It reflects genuine differences in transit and facility cost rather than a markup: Kansas City sits below the Amsterdam baseline because US bandwidth is cheap, and Victoria sits above it because bandwidth to an island is expensive. The multiplier is visible before you pay, and it is the same one used at checkout.

Is the price I see the price I pay?

Yes. There is no setup fee, no charge for the first IPv4 address, no mandatory DDoS tier and no bandwidth overage billing. The checkout endpoint recomputes the total from scratch using the same pricing function this page uses, so the invoice cannot disagree with the configurator — and a tampered browser payload cannot produce a cheaper one either.

Do I need an account to build a configuration?

No. The configurator keeps your draft in this browser's local storage and nowhere else, so nothing is sent to us until you reach checkout. At checkout the only thing requested is an email address for your credentials — no name, no ID document, no phone number and no payment card, because NimbusVPS takes cryptocurrency only.

Or start from a plan and adjust.

The six named plans are common shapes, not limits. Any of them loads into the configurator in one click.
